DELLA TERRA WEDDINGS

Nestled right at the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, Wedgewood Della Terra, formerly known as Della Terra Mountain Chateau, is one of Wedgewood’s many Colorado wedding venues.

Couples who choose to get married here are typically looking for an immersive wedding experience at a stunning mountain venue that blends classic European-inspired architecture with a touch of Colorado charm. The ceremony site sits right along the border of the National Park and offers absolutely incredible views: mountains, evergreens, colorful aspens, water features, and if you’re lucky, even a herd of wild turkeys passing through. I’ve personally seen all kinds of wildlife here, including bighorn sheep, deer, elk, turkeys, and even the occasional bobcat. It’s truly an amazing spot for anyone wanting to experience nature on their wedding day while still enjoying the comforts of a traditional venue.

In addition to the beautiful ceremony site, the venue also features a gorgeous reception hall with massive glass windows wrapping around the space. This lets guests continue taking in the scenery of Estes Park while staying cozy indoors, even if the weather turns snowy or less than ideal.

Another thing couples really love about Della Terra is the range of amenities. Brides and bridesmaids enjoy the spacious salon for getting ready in the morning, while the groom and groomsmen can hang out and prep in the on-site theater. And for those wanting to stay overnight, Della Terra offers on-site accommodations, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful.

One of the biggest perks of Della Terra is how close it is to Rocky Mountain National Park. When I photograph weddings here, I often build custom timelines so couples can step into the Park for photos and experience a variety of landscapes.
