Fort Collins Engagement Photos

Fort Collins is an absolutely beautiful place in the Spring. The trees start growing blossoms and the leaves grow thick. When Lindsey and Mitchell asked to take their engagement photos with some nice scenery, I had a couple places in mind near town and our photos came out fantastic. With all of the recent rain in the area, the trees and grass have been growing green and tall, and I’m very happy with all of the foliage we were able to capture. We started taking photos at a local lake in Laporte that had all of the elements we were looking for. Tall grass, thick trees, an open lake and a nice bridge. As usual, I grabbed some traditional portraits, but focused primarily on grabbing candid moments with artistic elements. Lindsey and Mitchell were a blast to work with and they were very excited for their photos. After the lake we headed to a spot near the Power Trail in East Fort Collins that I’ve seen many times while riding my bike. There were some great elements there that made for some great photos, and the nearby train tracks were a great addition to the collection. The final spot we hit was Rolland Moore park, where we got some more cute photos of the two of them. My favorite part was when Lindsey and Mitchell put on their Vibrams toe shoes, I’ve seen them before and now I want a pair for myself!
