Estes Park Elopement

:

Sometimes I take for granted how amazing of place we live in. Estes Park is such a beautiful natural venue to host a wedding at, and I am constantly reminded how many people from around the world come to visit this wonderful place. I’ve had clients come to elope here from Washington, Illinois, California, Iowa, Texas, Europe and now – Canada. Coming all the way from Manitoba, Dawn and Dylan wanted to have a very private an Estes Park Elopement with no one but themselves (and an officiant) to share their vows with. I was fortunate enough to have them ask me to capture some special photos for them around Rocky Mountain National Park.

Dawn is currently enrolled in a PhD program at a university in Canada and part of her study program was to come to Estes Park for a year to study a rare flower that only grows in Rocky Mountain National Park (I’d be lying if I said I remembered the name of it). Through her studies, she absolutely fell in love with the natural beauty we have here, and made sure that Dylan joined her on this adventure so they could get married. We started taking photos of their intimate ceremony overlooking Estes Park near the Knoll-Willow lookout. Afterwards, we drove around Rocky Mountain National Park looking for some natural opportunities for great photo options. I’ll let the photos tell a story and speak for themselves!
