Perry Mansfield Wedding – Steamboat Springs

Steamboat Springs is known for being a winter playground with world-class skiing and idyllic natural hot springs. Many don’t know that when the winters fade, a different type of beauty emerges in Steamboat. Spring, summer and fall provide perfect backdrops for any outdoor activity, including breathtaking weddings. Oren and Kate chose Steamboat Springs because of the mountains that surround the little town, and the vast wilderness that weaves its way in and around it. Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts Camp is set amidst this wilderness in a valley just northeast of the town of Steamboat Springs, and it’s in this historic camp that Oren and Kate chose to say their “I Do”s.
Nestled in a little valley, Perry-Mansfield provided an intimate, yet easily accessible space for their wedding and their guests. The camp is surrounded by gorgeous aspen trees, which were ripe with fall colors during their day, and there was even a slight dusting of snow on the peaks surrounding the valley. It was raining in the hours leading up to their ceremony, but Oren and Kate were clearly so excited to be marrying one another, that it didn’t dampen their spirits’. Luckily, the clouds cleared enough just before ceremony time and provided them with a picturesque view that will not be easily forgotten by them and their guests. After the ceremony, it was time to party and celebrate, and no one wasted any time in getting on the dance floor and dancing the night away. The slightly damp day faded into a perfect night for the couple; a night that they won’t easily forget.
