I was quite flattered when I got asked by my old photography teacher to take family portraits of her family for the Holidays, I guess I must have made a good impression!
She wanted to go for a more casual style of photographs which was more than fine by me because I love shooting natural light and capturing genuine expressions.
We shot in San Juan Capistrano at a couple of locations I’ve enjoyed shooting at in the past and made some nice images. I did shoot some with an off-camera strobe but I liked all the ones with ambient light so much more. Enjoy!
Had to climb a tree to get these next two shots!
And a picture of me in the tree my assistant took; oh the things I do to get a good shot….
