Fort Collins Elopement
Kim contacted me to photograph her elopement ceremony at her home in Windsor. Elopement ceremonies are always a very special thing to be a part of, as they very intimate and personal, and it’s a pleasure to be involved in such a special moment.

Kim and Ken wanted this ceremony to be intimate, personal, and very emotional and asked that I be there to capture these personal moments between the two of them. They invited only their closest family to attend and watch them share their vows. I started the day as usual, photographing a couple of the details they had set aside for their ceremony, photographing the rings, dress, shoes, flowers and the unity sand. No matter what size the wedding, it’s always important to capture the details as they help create memories of the day and the preparation that went into it. After grabbing a couple photos of both Kim and Ken, they headed out to their patio to share their vows and exchange rings. They invited a harpist to come play during their ceremony who played beautifully.
After a heart-felt ceremony, we took a few photos in the garden, and then headed to a local barn to take a few more additional photographs. This was a great way to kick off my Summer wedding season and I’m looking forward to all the exciting events I get to shoot this year!
