We’ve been receiving many questions lately as to the current status of travel, weddings and photography in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The good news is Estes Park is now reopening and encouraging visitors (with safety precautions) to visit our community.
VISITING RMNP:
Starting today (May 28th), if you are entering Rocky Mountain National Park, you must make a reservation to get into the park. Reservations are $25 per vehicle. If you are an annual pass-holder, you will still need to pay a $2 reservation fee. If you are planning on going into the Park for recreation, make a reservation ASAP.
YOUR PHOTOSHOOT WITH LARA PHOTOGRAPHY:
If you are on a photoshoot with us, you do not need to make a reservation. We are annual CUA (commercial use authorizations) permit holders and as such, you will be allowed into the park without a reservation. You will however need to still pay a $25 fee per vehicle to enter the park. At this point, it is unclear as to how many vehicles and what group sizes we are allowed to bring into the park, but we will update this post as soon as we find out.
WEDDINGS IN ESTES PARK:
As of today, weddings and events are allowed to resume in Estes Park with a limited amount of guests. More information will be provided by the state on Monday, June 1st with updated guidelines for venues to safely reopen.
