The Pavilion at the Stanley is a brand new luxury wedding venue in Estes Park. It shares land with the famous Stanley Hotel, but is it’s own building as a exclusive high-end wedding and corporate event venue. When you first walk in, you will be in absolute awe as you marvel at the incredible attention to detail the architects put into this gorgeous building. From the front balcony you’re presented with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and to the rear of the venue you’ll notice how it’s been carefully designed into the natural, unique boulders that Estes Park is known for. My favorite feature of the venue is the theater. The seats are stitched with Italian leather and directly behind the stage is a massive glass window that opens up into a natural pond. Ceremonies can be held here in the theater, or on a floating dock in the pond. When a bride and groom book this venue for their date, they’re able to choose from the large selection of ceremony and reception site options made available to them.
The Pavilion at the Stanley Wedding
– A Styled Shoot –
My wife Lyssa and I were honored when the event coordinators at the hotel asked Sean Lara Photography to be the first to capture a Pavilion at the Stanley Wedding. We quickly assembled a team of our favorite vendors together for a styled shoot to show how we might capture photos of a bride and groom on an actual wedding day. Our models Erika and Micah are a real couple, so it made the photos that much more natural and exciting. It was so much fun to see them fashion some high-end wedding attire, and to make them laugh as we captured their emotions. Before we started taking photos, Erika got her hair and makeup put together by the talented artists Heather and Josh at Bridal Glow Wedding Services. Meanwhile, I captured photos of the beautiful bouquet of flowers Bliss Wedding Florist put together for us. When it was time to get in the dress, Erika slipped into her custom, handmade Anabella Polletti wedding gown while Micah put on his Hugo Boss tuxedo. After getting them dressed, we had Erika and Micah do a “first look” like we do on many of our real wedding days, and he was blown away with how beautiful she looked. After taking photos around the grounds for some time, we grabbed a Porsche 718S to incorporate in some of shots. I told Micah to “pose like James Bond would” and he pulled it off perfectly!
I cannot wait until the Pavilion starts booking weddings here! We’re looking forward to an amazing future at this property and being a part of all the beautiful weddings to come.
Thanks to all of our vendors that helped us make this day come together magically:
