[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Della Terra is one of those mountain venues that’s so unique, it would be almost impossible to have a bad wedding experience here. The staff is always incredible, the venue itself is gorgeous, and the views are beautiful. For this wedding my assistant and I joined Bryce and Dayna on their special day and captured all of their moments from start to finish. The Chateau recently made some changes to the property which included adding a brand new bridal suite and salon and a new pergola to the ceremony site, both of which are perfect additions to the grounds.
We started off the day capturing Dayna getting ready for the big day in the bridal suite, and photographed some of her wedding details. One thing that was very important to her was that we captured some shots of Bryce’s hammer and chain-link cane, which was made for him by Dayna’s dad following an accident Bryce had as a teenager. Bryce and Dayna elected to not have a “first look” so once they both finished getting ready we pulled them out for some portraits and then headed to the amphitheater for their ceremony. It was definitely one of the more beautiful and emotional ceremonies we’ve been to, as Bryce and Dayna shared stories with each other growing up together and going through challenging times as teenagers. As wedding photographers, we get the privilege of being involved in an amazing journey between a couple, and being part of intimate moments like these are always special.
After the ceremony concluded, we pulled our bride and groom, the family and the bridal party out into the field next to the amphitheater for more photos, incorporated the natural beauty at Della Terra. Once that was over, we captured scenes from their reception and partied with their family and friends! Before we left for the evening, we had to make sure to get a bad-ass photo of Bryce and Dayna smoking outside. With some fancy flash techniques and lighting, we got an awesome photo that I believe to this day is still set as Bryce’s Facebook profile picture.
