This certainly isn’t the first time I’ve ever been to Black Canyon, but this wedding was of my favorites that I’ve captured there. Autumn is undoubtedly my favorite season of the year (it’s too short if you ask me) and when you combine that with the awesome views you get at Black Canyon Inn, you can’t go wrong. Allie & Pierce were yet another couple traveling from out of state to get married in the beautiful town that is Estes Park and chose to have a small, intimate wedding in late September. I started out the day capturing some getting-ready moments with both Allie and Pierce, and because I was shooting solo this day I had to go back and forth between their cabins to make sure I got all the important moments that happen during those times. After capturing the final prep details, we moved on to the ceremony which was held at the usual spot over looking the Twin Owls and the familiar mountain peaks in Estes.
After the Ceremony and a few family photos, we headed down to the bridge and pond which I always insist on taking my couples to. This is a wonderful feature at this venue and is something you shouldn’t miss out on. After about 20 minutes of alone time with the bride and groom, we headed inside the Twin Owls restaurant for their reception where I captured some very heart-felt speeches and dances. This Black Canyon Inn Wedding is one of many wonderful experiences I’ve had here over the years.

Estes Park Wedding Photographer
My wife Lyssa and I are a husband-wife team based out of Estes Park and Fort Collins. While the majority of the weddings we photograph are in these two towns, we travel all over the country in search of the most beautiful places to get married with our couples. If you’re getting married anywhere in Estes Park, Fort Collins, Colorado or the country, we’d love to be a part of your day! Send us an inquiry to see how we can be a part of your special moments!
