Pelican Lakes Weddings

If I can be candid here for a minute, there’s no denying that most golf and country clubs are quite similar to each other. There’s not a lot of variety in scenery and if you have been to one, you’ve been to them all. Fortunately, this is where Pelican Lakes Weddings are different. It’s not your typical cookie-cutter wedding venue – in fact it’s quite the opposite. I’ve never been to a golf course like Pelican Lakes where there is so much variety and so many options as to the locations on where you want to host your ceremony, reception and take photos. To my knowledge, there are 5 different ceremony locations and 3 reception spots. This gives a huge opportunity to plan a dream wedding. Between all of these ceremony and reception options, there’s no shortage of beautiful spots to get a great photo at. Most people opt for the beach making you feel like you’re in a completely different region which provides some coast-like vibes. There’s the chapel area which has low hanging trees which provide shade and green foliage for some softer-lit scenes. Other spots on the island include a beautifuly constructed bridge which lends itself to some amazing shots, and of course the event tent which gives a great spot to host your reception. If you’re not on the island, there are even more spots near the clubhouse. The floating gazebo makes for some romantic night-time photos, the architecture of the building itself presents some unique lines and angles, and all around are easily accessible natural scenes which include a boardwalk, dock and a bunch of bridges.
If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue in Northern Colorado, I can’t recommend Pelican Lakes enough! It’s easily accessible for wedding guests to get to, and there are so many options to create the perfect wedding. The staff is knowledgeable, incredibly friendly and will work hard to make sure your day goes perfect.
