After shooting their engagement session, I knew that Michelle and Nick were a special couple. Young and full of true love, Michelle and Nick have been together since high school and wanted a wedding where they could share their love with friends and family. They decided to have a country inspired wedding at the El Adobe restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. Built in 1797 and operating as a restaurant since 1948, the El Adobe is rich with history and was a wonderful choice for Michelle and Nick’s special day. Assistant photographer for this wedding was the talented Jared Fix.
A lot of time and creativity was put into their country themed wedding. Each of the tables had center-pieces with a different drinks as the theme, and the dessert table was full of home-made pies and cakes.
Both parties got ready down the street at a local hotel where we took preparation shots.
Immediately after, we went to Los Rios Street in downtown San Juan Capistrano, to let Michelle and Nick see each other for the first time.
The ceremony took place in the courtyard at the El Adobe restaurant…
…shortly followed by a fun reception filled with line dancing, cake cutting and more!
