From the outside Fountains of Loveland doesn’t look like much, but once you get inside and see the elegant ballroom and staircase, you’ll understand what the hype is about! I shot Courtney and Jason’s wedding here this fall and together we were able to capture their memories in a special way.
Fountains of Loveland Wedding Photography
Our day started out taking preparation photos of Courtney: capturing all the details of her dress and getting makeup and hair shots. There is a preparation room on the first level outside of the ballroom which has some nice natural light and adequate room to move around in. While I was capturing photos of the bride and her bridesmaids, my associate photographer Tom was getting some shots of Jason and the guys hanging out.
Being so visually appealing, the large staircase made for some great photos of the bride and the girls before we headed off to the ceremony. Courtney decided she wanted to do a “reveal” with her dad before he walked her down the aisle, and I think his emotion is well expressed in the photos!
The ceremony location took place outside and can accommodate quite a few guests. After a spiritual and quite humorous ceremony, we grabbed some family photos and then we went down the street to the Devil’s Backbone natural area where we grabbed some nature-oriented wedding photos.
The reception hall is elegant! Tall ceilings, chandeliers and beautifully-set tables really helped set the mood for the evening. Make sure to check out the photos of the cake – it was definitely one of the tallest cakes I have ever seen!
